Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview conducted at the CSIR-IICB Jadavpur campus in Kolkata. The selection will be based on the candidates' qualifications, eligibility and suitability for the respective research projects.
Service Conditions
The positions are purely temporary and project-based. The initial engagement will generally be up to 31 March 2027, subject to the respective vacancy conditions. The tenure may be extended depending on project requirements, performance review and CSIR rules.
The engagement is co-terminus with the respective project. The total tenure across CSIR laboratories cannot exceed six years. Appointment to these positions does not provide any right to regularisation or permanent absorption in CSIR or CSIR-IICB.
