In addition to the remuneration, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year is paid towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. Gratuity is admissible as per the applicable provisions of the BEL Employees' Gratuity Scheme. Selected candidates must obtain a Medical Insurance cover of Rs. 2 lakhs per annum and Life Insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum at the time of joining.

BEL Project Engineer-I Selection Process 2026
The selection process comprises a Written Test followed by an Interview.
- Written Test: Carries 85% weightage. The venue will be at Bengaluru and Delhi.
- Interview: Carries 15% weightage. Candidates who pass the written test are called for interview in a 1:5 ratio in order of merit in each category.
