National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced 111 vacancies for Assistant Sub-Inspector, Head Constable, and Data Entry Operator posts on a deputation basis under its 2026 recruitment. The notified pay level is Pay Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) for Assistant Sub-Inspector and Data Entry Operator, and Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,700) for Head Constable. Eligible candidates can apply through the offline mode by sending the completed application by post to DIG(Adm), NIA HQ, Opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi within 60 days from publication (about 20 December 2026). The selection process consists of deputation screening based on bio-data and APAR dossier. Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion cannot apply.

- Assistant Sub-Inspector: Graduation from a recognized university. Experience of at least 02 years in investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations or information technology management.
- Head Constable: 12th class pass or equivalent from any recognized Board of University. Experience in intelligence work.
- Data Entry Operator: 'O' or 'A' level certificate for Information Technology from an Institute recognised by the Government. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or department.
