About CCSID
CCSID is a multidisciplinary centre of the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah 711 103. It was set up in 2025 with an endowment from an alumnus of the Institute. Selection Process
An expert committee will make the selection. Applicants may be asked to interact with the committee. The committee's recommendation decides whether the two positions are filled at the Chair Professor level, the Adjunct Associate/Assistant Professor level, or both.
Service Conditions
- The tenure is initially 3 years, with an annual appraisal.
- Either party (the faculty member or the Centre) may end the association with 90 days' prior written notice.
- Selected faculty keep their responsibilities in their parent department while working with the Centre.
