Pay and Terms of Engagement
- Ad-hoc appointment for 89 days (44 days where reserved vacancies are filled by General candidates), extendable by 89/44 days with one day break
- Maximum tenure of Senior Resident post is 03 years including previous tenure in any Govt. Hospital/Institute/Organization
- Services end when a regular appointee joins; no claim over the post
- 07 days prior notice for resignation, or deposit seven days salary in lieu
- Appointments from the relaxed-norms list are for one year only and not renewable
